Caving in Cantabria is considered a European reference given its great underground heritage. We have a total of more than 6,500 caves throughout our region . Making a unique place to carry out this activity, both for beginners and experts.
From our company we make different caves depending on our clients: families, couples, groups of friends, schools, etc. Looking for the experience that best suits the level of each participant.
Caving tour
This caving excursion is perfectly suited for children and adults who want to learn about caves and underground caverns. It’s an ideal activity to share with family or friends and requires no prior experience. We’ll explore a magical and surprising environment of stalactites, stalagmites, and other formations that you’ll learn to identify throughout the adventure.
The total duration of the activity is approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes.
El Nazal Cave
Beginner level
Introductory activity for those with no prior experience. We will rappel inside the cave, navigating narrower and slightly more technical passages .
With galleries 20 meters high and 15 meters wide, we will explore the entire cave , venturing into both the upper and lower levels , navigating several narrow passages and a 12-meter rappel . Inside, we will observe countless formations, especially blue flag-like formations.
The total duration of the activity is approximately 3 hours and 30 minutes.
Nazal Cave
Intermediate level
This second level is designed for those who want to take their adventure a step further and seek a bit more excitement. We’ll rappel 10 meters into the cave entrance, reaching a vast chamber that will leave us speechless, given its sheer size and the impressive formations of flowstone , columns, stalactites, and stalagmites . To finish and return to the entrance, we’ll climb a ladder, providing the perfect ending to this adventure .
The total duration would be approximately 4 to 5 hours.
