Vía Ferrata

The via ferrata are vertical or horizontal routes equipped with various materials such as steps, chains, hanging bridges or zip lines, which allow us to reach areas that are difficult to climb. They have a safety cable, which allows us to always be insured.
In this way we can travel through different mountains in Cantabria with all the necessary security. If you like heights and climbing attracts you, it is a perfectly combined activity. It is recommended that if you suffer from vertigo you do not do this activity.

The Thousand

Via Ferrata en Cantabria 4

Located in the Hermida Gorge and above the Deva River, we find this wonderful short  but intense ferrata . This is a route that we begin with a small bridge , which gives us access to the first vertical wall . Once this wall is done, it takes us on a horizontal route with some collapse before entering the last vertical wall with many natural grips and few staples . We will descend from the ferrata to a zip line that will take us over the Deva River . The duration of the activity will be approximately 2 hours 30 minutes .

La Hermida “the bridges”
